East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust (EKHUFT) offers a range of children’s health services for babies, children and young people, from birth up to age nineteen.
The Vision: To provide a holistic service that puts our infants, children and young people at the heart of what we do. The service will be delivered by a well led, passionate and engaged team who seek innovation, which is financially viable and work in partnership across the service.
Child Health funds those "extras" that are not available through normal NHS funding for East Kent's youngest patients. Our children's services include Rainbow Children's Ward at the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, Padua Children's Wardat the William Harvey Hospital, Dolphin Children's Ward and Children's Assessment Centre at the Kent & Canterbury Hospital and the Children's Assessment Unit at Buckland Hospital in Dover. We also provide a range of services in East Kent for speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.
