East Kent Hospitals Charity's 2020 Festive Campaign!

Festive Campaign 2020 image

It’s been an unprecedented year for East Kent Hospitals Charity. The challenges of the COVID19 pandemic have been far reaching, and we have been humbled by the support we have received from our generous communities, supporters and donors, especially regarding our Helping Your Hospitals Appeal. This has enabled us to fund multiple projects and initiatives to enhance staff well-being during the pandemic. You can find out more about how your support has made a real difference to NHS Heroes across all five hospital sites, here.

This Christmas, we are keen to continue supporting our staff and have lots of ideas about how you can help us:

Amazon Smile

Did you know that we are registered with Amazon Smile? You can search for East Kent Hospitals Charity and raise funds for us whilst you do your festive shopping! Its easy, free, and you can do it all from your sofa!

EasyFundraising

EasyFundraising supports thousands of good causes, allowing you to raise funds for charity while you do you online shopping, with over 4000 retailers. Simply follow this link to get started!

Give a virtual gift

Last year we launched our Amazon Wishlist, to allow our supporters to make meaningful gifts to patients on our wards, and as it was so successful, we have decided to launch this again!

Due to the pandemic, we have to be extra careful about the gifts that we receive and pass to the wards, for infection control reasons. Using our Wishlist is the perfect way to brighten someone’s day- be that a patient on one of our Children’s Wards, or a patient living with dementia who will be in hospital over the Christmas period.

You can find our Wish lists here (and don’t forget to use Amazon Smile when you place an order!).

Xmas Party Heroes

If your organisation's festive party has been cancelled this year, why not donate the cost to charity? You can find out more, at the Xmas Party Heroes website!

Festive giving

Things are very different this year, and we know that you are unlikely to be doing your usual festive giving with your work, clubs, groups, and places of worship.

We would love to hear about your creative ideas for giving, and supporting our patients and NHS Heroes! Maybe you are doing ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ over Zoom, or have decided to donate the money that you would usually spend on your staff party or Christmas cards to charity? Get in touch with us by following the link below, to share your amazing ideas!

We are so grateful for your support this year. Thank you so much for Helping Your Hospitals. We wish you the happiest and safest of Season’s Greetings.
