We were thrilled to be selected as WW Martin's Charity of the Year for 2024.
The fundraising journey began with a Go Karting Race Night at Buckmore Park, which brought together staff and industry friends and colleagues for an evening of competitive racing. This was followed by a Pro-Am Golf Day at Canterbury Golf Course, where golf enthusiasts showcased their skills while contributing to a worthy cause. A 5-a-Side Football Tournament at the WW Martin Community Stadium, organised in partnership with Ramsgate Football Club, fostered teamwork and raised significant funds for the charity. To conclude the year, a team from WW Martin joined in a ‘Chilly Challenge,’ a winter dip in Dover Harbour which added a memorable highlight to the fundraising efforts.
The funds raised will be directed towards the Special Care Baby Unit at QEQM Hospital, improving facilities for some of the most vulnerable patients and their families. We look forward to sharing further details regarding the specific improvements enabled by this support in due course.
