ChargeBoxes

We have installed a number of charge boxes from ChargeBox across our hospital sites. These allow visitors to charge their phones and ipads for up to 30 minutes for free. The matron for acute health said: "Having the ChargeBox is a lifeline for families, particularly those who have been admitted as an emergency so may not have had time to pack or bring a charger. It's a small thing that can make a big difference to help people stay in contact with relatives and friends."

TLC Care Packages for new parents

We have funded TLC Care Packages for new parents with babies admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The packages are filled with little essentials, such as lip balm and hand cream - items which parents may not have had time to think about bringing with them if their delivery was unexpected. They are designed to make them feel welcomed on the unit and make time spent there a little bit easier.
