We raise and receive funds so that we can enhance the hospital environment for patients, staff and visitors.

East Kent Hospitals charity is the NHS charity for East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust (EKHUFT). We raise funds for their wards and services to fund projects that fall outside of the NHS Budget. We are enormously grateful for any support we receive, whether it is a financial donation, helping to raise awareness of our work, or planning a fundraising event.

All public healthcare services are funded from central government taxes, and while our Trust provides a high level of service to our patients due to this funding, we are always looking to enhance patient care and wellbeing. We are here to help your local hospitals go further.

Our impact

We rely on the support and generosity of our local communities who raise funds and donate towards our campaigns.

Our fabulous fundraisers bake cakes, run marathons and take on amazing challenges, in order to support the wards and services that mean the most to them. We are also enormously grateful for the groups, organisations and businesses across East Kent who are so committed to supporting the work that we do.
