With your help, East Kent Hospitals Charity can fund multiple projects to help support patients with dementia and make their time spent in hospital more enjoyable.

Previously a charity appeal with the goal that every patient living with dementia will leave hospital as fit and healthy as possible, rather than experience a decline in their condition. This can happen when a person is in an unfamiliar environment for a length of time. We managed to raise a total of over £140,000 at the time of the appeal.

Projects going forward will come from the help of the amazing dementia team at EKHUFT, to enhance the work they do with our patients and their carers, families and friends.
