They intend it to be the first of many fundraising events in aid of East Kent Hospitals Charity, benefiting the chemotherapy units at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate, and the Kent and Canterbury Hospital.
Team member Amy Seymour, from the Trust’s strategic development team, said: “We have been working with our chemotherapy teams to look at their facilities and what we can do to improve patient experience, and our fundraising will be to benefit them.
“The colour rush is a fun way to raise some money for this great cause, which we know is close to many people’s hearts.”
The event takes place on Saturday, 20 May and the team members include colleagues from across the Trust, as well as their friends and family.
